Islamabad: Former retired President General Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer Ahmed Raza Kasuri has read out a letter circulated by Interior Ministry. He said that my client will not come in a special court leading his high treason case, TV reports. Ahmed Raza Kasuri offered security alert, delivered by the Interior Ministry before the court and said Musharraf will appear only if court ensures his security, during today’s hearing. He said criminals had entered into the protection team of Pervez Musharraf and like a Salman Taseer’s attack.
Pervez Musharraf received threats from terrorist groups as it is indicated in the letter. During the hearing, Ahmed Raza Kasuri and another lawyer of Musharraf opened a leaked secret letter written by an Interior Ministry warned against a possible terror attack on Musharraf.

They should not have filed the complaint against Musharraf if the government was not serious in taking the high treason case to a reasonable conclusion.
It is the responsibility of the government to provide security as Musharraf is an acceptable man, first time in the history that former chief military dictator is facing these kinds of problems, Musharraf’s lawyer said.
