Bacha khan with Mahatma Gandhi
Peshawar: Another Important Pakistani Airport renamed in current government. ANP government successfully changed the name of Peshawar Airport into their leader name. The Provincial government associated airport name with Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and new name is Bacha Khan International Airport.
The inauguration ceremony of changing of Name was held in Lounge of airport in which Asfandyar Wali cut cake.
It’s worth mentioning here that in 2008, PPP Government changed the name of Islamabad International Airport to Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
