Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary of Human Rights, Minorities Affairs, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Punjab Khalil Tahir Sindhu appreciated Pakistan Germany relations while giving briefing to German delegation on Department Human Rights and Minority Affairs. According to the details, Germany’s member parliament Christoph Strasser and German ambassador in Pakistan Dr. Cyrill Nunn met with PML-N Khalil Tahir Sindhu along with 3-member delegation in order to discuss matters of mutual interest.
Minister of the Punjab inform the delegation about the steps of Punjab government for the welfare of minorities specially formation of harmony offices in the province and government jobs for minorities. He also told the delegation that government has decided to give5% quota to minorities for their permanent allocation as well as also inform them about GST Plus.
However, Germany’s member parliament Christoph Strasser, federal government commissioner for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs and German ambassador Dr. Cyrill appreciated cooperation in different fields of both countries and expressed hope that mutual understanding will boost further in future in commercial and other sectors also. Christoph Strasser and Dr. Cyrill Nunn also appreciated the steps taken by Punjab government for the welfare of minorities.
