Chaudhry Lal Hussain currently holds the official position of member of Home Affairs. He has played a key role as a member of Home Affairs and 16th Assembly.

His brother Chaudhry Khadim Hussain was an MPA in Punjab Assembly from the year 1985-2013 and again serving as an MNA in recent National Assembly. His nephew Chaudhry Nadeem Khadim had been an MPA in Punjab Assembly from 2008-2013. He has also visited various places as tourism. He has travelled to United Kingdom. He follows Islam as religion.
