Mr Malik Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan is a politician of constituency PP-39 (Khushab-I). His current official position is Member of Public Accounts Committee-I. He has also held previous official positions in Punjab Assembly, twice as MPA from 2002-2007 and from 2008-2013 and once as Chairman Standing Committee on Food from 2003-2007. He is affiliated with PML (N) led by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Mr Malik Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan was born in Sargodha on 7th November 1951. He is living a happy married life with his family. He has raised four dutiful children. His father’s name is Malik Karam Bux Awan. He has acquired degrees in Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Law (L.L.B). By profession he is a businessperson. His father Malik Karam Bux Awan is also a politician who has served National Assembly from 1970-1977 and Majlis-e-Shora in 1980. His brother Malik Bashir Awan has also served Punjab Assembly from 1980-1990. He has visited Canada and United Kingdom on official tours, United States on private tour and recreation and Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj and Umrah.
