Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has started the process to close terrorists’ organizations, websites, videos and social media pages as according to the first phase, more than twelve organizations’ websites will be blocked.
After receiving instructions from Islamabad High Court, PTA’s chairman is all set to block twelve terrorists’ organizations as well as PTA is also allowed to block anti-Pakistan and anti-Islamic websites and videos. However 20-point National Action Plan has been articulated by the government of Pakistan in order to take a step regarding removal of terrorism from the country. The government who has become furious after the saddest Peshawar attack which is also banning various books in the country which are increasing animosity in the country.
It is a good action taken by the government against terrorists’ organizations as this will help to stop the activities of these militant organizations who are spreading terrorism and violence day by day in the country. It will be another good action against terrorism if Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) would be allowed by the government to end covering of activities of these banned organizations. It is pertinent to mention that the terrorist have made cruel attack on Army Public School in Peshawar recently in which almost 150 people, including 134 children lost their lives, after which government become more alert in this regard.
