Punjab Police All Records To Be Computerized: Umar Saif

Punjab's police computerized recordLahore: The chairman of Punjab Information Technology Board Umair Saif all records of Punjab’s police is going to be computerized on the direction of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at which cost of half a million and more than it would be spend. This project which is going to start on the name of Inventory Management will be completed at the end of this year as its pilot project is starting from Lahore, Umar Saif added.

The chairman of PITB further told that according to this project, the records of polices’ belongings and other expenses such as all cars of and its maintenance, petrol, arms, equipment, computers, furniture, uniform and food will be converted into computer which would help to stop their illegal and unofficial use. However the records of Police staffing and their conversion will be computerized due to which duty of any employee or officer will be monitored effectively as the main server will be set at Central Police Office Lahore or at PITB headquarters, Umar Saif added.

It is worth mention here that PITB Chairman Umar Saif gave his resignation to Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif for not made him the Chairman of NADRA but CM refused his resignation while saying that Dr. Umar Saif is important for Punjab.
