Rameez Raja Suggests To Replace Afridi With Yasir Shah

Rameez Raja Former Pakistan captain and cricket commentator Rameez has suggested to replace Shahid Afridi with leg-spinner bowler Yasir Shah in next match against Ireland. During a TV interview, Rameez Raja said Yasir Shah must necessarily join the team as he is a bowler to whom famous Australian cricketer Shane Watson himself wants to meet him due to which we can estimated his abilities.

Rameez Raja further added that the team management must take decision on an all-rounder Shahid Afridi as regular spinner can be added in the team at his place who could bring positive results for the team. Pakistan’s bowling attack in all over the World Cup is worth appreciated but Shahid Afridi failed to show improved performance in every aspect, he added.

Shahid Afridi has played five matches so far but remain unable to get a wicket in four matches while he got two wickets against only UAE team in the whole tournament. On the other hand, bowler Yasir Shah had performed brilliantly against Australia and New Zealand series in UAE before the World Cup 2015 as he has played only one match of the WC 2015 against India in which he failed to show significant performance.

Famous commentator Rameez Raja has also commented over Sarfaraz Ahmed who was replaced by Nasir Jamshed in the last match against South Africa by saying that it is the mistake of the team management not to give him chance in earlier matches.
