Salman Rushdie Wants Imran Khan In Controversy?

Recently in Kolkata Book Fair in India Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan made a statement that he is humiliated by Salman Rushdie’s work. Controversial author Salman Rushdie reacted and tweeted “Thirty years ago @ImranKhanPTI was a fan at my 1982 Delhi lecture and 100% secular. Now my work “humiliates” his “faith.” Which is the real Imran? (sic),”

In reply to this Dr. Arif Ali, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Secretary General, said on his facebook page that “Rushdie should know that in ’82 he was just another author and had not had not published his blasphemic Satanic Verses which he did in 1988. Since then Salman Rushdie is a pariah (to say the least) in the muslim world.”

A supporter of Imran Khan in Lahore said that it looks that  Salman Rushdie wants Imran Khan to become controversial but Imran Khan reputation will not be affected by this type of people.
