A wicket-keeper and a right-handed batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed who took all the eyes in the last match of Pakistani cricket team against South Africa through his tremendous performance due to which team met with deserving success. Sarfaraz Ahmed who declared as Man of the match due to his wonderfully scored 49 runs and caught 6 catches behind the stumps replied in Urdu during presentation to famous commentator Rameez Raja.
It is good that Pakistani player Sarfaraz Ahmed talked in Urdu during his presentation despite facing troubles in speaking in English as often some big sportsmen also chooses to speak in their own language for which translators also presents there. It is not compulsory or there is no any rule to speak in English language only during match presentation as everyone is allowed to speak in their language but English is international language that’s why people give first priority to English in this regard.
As Pakistani cricket team has become successful in order to bring smile on the face of Pakistani nation by winning biggest match against South Africa in World Cup 2015 after losing two important matches against biggest teams. Sarfaraz Ahmed received great appreciation and praised from all the Pakistanis after this match as people are demanding to give him chance in all the next matches as opening batsman Nasir Jamshed was replaced by him in the last match.
I see no problem with that,why do we feel ashamed,its our national language,even head of states like china,france,italy,germany,turkey,they all prefer to addrees in their national language then why not Sarfaraz ! We are proud of our national language Urdu !
