It has also exposed that Shafqat Hussain who kept to the Central jail Karachi these days also claimed money from 7 years old boy’s parents after killed their son by saying that he will release him after getting money. But he caught red handed by the police at the time of collecting money from killed boy’s parents because parents had already engaged police into the case.
On the other hand, Interior Ministry source confessed that NGOs’ campaign is only misleading the case as it was only propaganda to prove Shafqat Hussain a young in order to force government to stop his execution. It is important to mention here that certain NGOs and civil society campaign were claiming that prisoner was childish when he killed a boy on the basis of sheer lies.
However, the authorities are looking forward to set up a medical board in order to conclude the age of the prisoner.
