Sindh Teachers Forum Condemns Bribery Incident

Karachi: Sindh Teachers Forum committee’s in charge Professor Zaheer Uddin Khan, member Professor Tariq Sheikh and Professor M.Asif condemned bribe from colleges in the name of reconciliation of receipts and expenditure in their joint statement.

Professor Zaheer Uddin Khan said that an official got an amount of 10,000 and 15,000 from principals of colleges by saying that this amount will be given to World Bank. However expenditure record was once again summoned by principals on different dates according to the report by saying the same from that official. Professors further said that STF appealed to Sindh Senior Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and Secretary Education Fazlullah Pechuho that to pay attention to these bribery issues and take effective steps to stop bribery incidents by doing serious investigation regarding those officials who are taking bribe from colleges. They also said that colleges have already great expense for the quality education of children and they are not able to face these type of bribe issues.

It is pertinent to mention that World Bank do not take bribe from in this regard as World Bank is used to give funds to all educational organizations.

Sindh Teachers Forum (STF) is a non-governmental organization and an association of schools, colleges and University teachers who has been working for quality education in Pakistan.
