Mr Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan is a high arched politician of PML (N) who is currently serving as speaker in 16th Punjab Assembly. He also holds the official position of Member of Finance Committee of Assembly. He is a very credible personality who has long years of struggle as politician and advocate. His constituency is PP-184 (Kasur-X).
Mr Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan was born in District Karnal, India on 20th April 1945. He is living a happy married life with his family and has raised seven children. His father’s name is Rana Phool Muhammad Khan who has served at official positions is Punjab Assembly from the year 1964-1993. He holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Bachelor of Law (L.L.B). By profession he is an advocate and agriculturist. Mr Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan had been Chairman of District Council from 1987-1993, Vice Chairman District Council from the year 1983-1987, MPA Punjab from the year 1993-1996 and Minister of Livestock and Dairy from 1997-1999. He has also served the portfolio of speaker of Punjab Assembly from the year 2009-2013. He has travelled to Canada, three times to India, Iran, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, United States and five visits to U.K mostly in the year 2011.
