I read in a newspaper that Federal Minister for Production Anwar Ali Cheema has said that Pakistan Steel Mills is a liability and government should get rid of it instead of struggling to keep the loss-making entity going.
Through proper management and ending of corruption in Steel Mills and political appointments are finished (which has taken the employees number to 21000) than Steel Mills can become one of the most profitable institution of Pakistan.
The above given advice is not a rocket science and even common person knows that if these suggestions are applied than PIA, Pakistan Railways and all other institution which are running on deficits can easily become profitable.
It is sad that Federal Minister for Production does not know these basic things and have become Minister and giving ridiculous suggestion.
