Physical appearance does affect your overall personality. Those who are fortunate to be born handsome have an edge over others in their public dealings.
But one of the worst things you can do is blind yourself to the reality and idealize a woman/man simply because they are beautiful or handsome. Like it or not, we are being judged by how we look, how we dress, and how we carry ourselves.
It’s natural. Beautiful things attract more because looks are the first impression.
I think it’s because of the Rishta system. There’s no way a guy or his family can fall for her personality or traits in one or two meetings. The boy/girl doesn’t even get those. So people just look for the aesthetic.
Not just physical but mental n ethical beauty as well but yes physical goes on top that’s why n how many brands sales their products too… Bitter or honest reality, it’s the case. However every individual is created n blessed with unique specialty n traits. What more important that if someone is blessed with such features n abilities, he she should not fall into arrogance by this because it kills everything.
It’s just because we follow western culture… If we keep on the track of eastern culture where inner beauty is more important than physical beauty.
Because people don’t get the point that “dikhny mai to china ka fone b pyara hota hai, likn hota kharab hai”. And well it’s a bit psychological that beauty attracts. But always remember if someone judges you by a physical beauty then that person does not have beauty of heart. That person has an ugly heart. So you should stay away from people like these for your betterment. And the person who judges you by the beauty of your heart then that person is having more beautiful heart than you.

It’s not just women who are being judge and selected by their beauty girl do have the same mentality GANJA nahi hona chahia MOTA hai yeh tou handsome hona chahia thora charming hona chahia. Wont you prefer a good-looking handsome guy … so it’s same everywhere.
Everyone has his/her own perspective while choosing a partner.
Physical Beauty is just like a Toy, suppose you have a beautiful Toy and later their are some other Toy which is more beautiful than your existing Toy than priorities of existing Toy become low.
So we should give priories to Inner beauty which is for forever instead of Physical Beauty which is Temporary.
However, its all about Priorities not everyone prefer Physical Beauty.
It’s because of mentality, If a guy wants a beautiful girl to be his life partner same should go for girls as well. However inner beauty is the most important thing that makes relation strong and that is to respect each other and understand the likes and dislikes of each other as well.
