A Pakistani journalist Asad Kharal has tweeted in this regard while saying that Zaid Hamid has died in custody during the Mina incident as he heard this news from someone.
Similarly, a news was also emerged few months ago that Zaid Hamid who was arrested and sentenced to 8 years is expected to return Pakistan soon. It has also revealed by personal website of Zaid Hamid named as BrassTracks that he had been completed his sentence for lashes while claiming that he was only sentenced for lashes but no prison.
On the other hand, private news channel also claimed that Pakistan foreign office played important role in changing the decision of Saudi police. However Pakistani and Saudi government have made no announcement regarding the death or release of Zaid Hamid. It is to be noted that Zaid Hamid was arrested during his personal visit along with his wife in Saudi two months ago due to his controversial and hate spreading speeches against Saudi Arabia.
Update: According to some reports, Zaid Hamid is fine and her death news is propaganda from some culprits.
